Peter Dettmer has taken over as Dean of the Manufacturing, Apprenticeship, Technology & Transportation (MATT) Division at Blackhawk. Dettmer, who succeeds Greg Phillips, brings more than 15 years of experience in program management, teaching, and curriculum development within the technology and trades fields.

After a decade in banking, Dani Walker decided it was time for a change, so she joined Blackhawk as a Financial Aid Assistant in the Student Services Division.

On July 2, 21 students completed the Accelerated Industrial Maintenance (AIM) program on 糖心官网’s Beloit-Janesville campus, marking the fourth graduating class of this initiative.

Shaler Urish, a Beloit native and student at Rock County Christian School, is gaining hands-on experience working with Athletic Director Nile Finney this summer through the Rock Internship Program.
